Would you have any information about how Utah is funding Eric? To my knowledge there are no contracts. Also, Eric is not registered to do business in Utah.
We are all frustrated doing research about elections because the lieutenant governor’s office presides over them and has immunity from information requests, but if Utah is truly a republican form of government the only office immunized from FOIA should be the governor?… not to mention that it is a conflict for the LG to preside over the election of an LG?

You are correct, there is no contract. This private non-profit corporation is bound by its bylaws, to which the state is party to - see below:
